I knew things had changed when I heard myself say to my husband, You know babe, I just realised I have a preconceived notion about…
This is remarkable for many reasons. First, I am realising that I have preconcieved notions. Second, I am realising it’s important to share these with my husband. That way, he’s not hit with something from way out in left field when all of a sudden, I’m annoyed/frustrated/upset because something didn’t happen the way I expected.
I didn’t understand it, but now I know what this blog was for. It was to teach me that I needed to know what was going on in my head, and I needed to be able to tell my husband about it when necessary.
Yup, you heard it right. “Was.” I think the blog’s had it’s run, it’s done its job and I’d rather shut it down then let it peter out slowly and sadly. After over a year, it seems like everything I have to say has already been said. Plus, life is really good right now and blogging really needs some conflict to keep things interesting. I’ve really appreciated all the comments; it’s been good to share these random thoughts with regular people, if only through the ether.

Sad to see you end it. Seems like ending blogs is all the rage this spring! I’m gonna miss you but I definitely know the relief that comes with ending a blog. Have a wonderful summer. Jane

Hi Claire! So we share the same name…and it’s funny, I was stumbling (a search tool used through mozilla firefox that brings up random websites) and your blog popped up. I started reading and thought how much the things you were saying and thinking sounded like me. Then I looked at the blogger and it had my name! SO I was pretty shocked. So just wanted to say hi…I have a boyfriend and so many of the things you are saying is how I feel. So hope life is well….farewell!
